TUITION & FINANCIAL AID

2025-2026 ACADEMY TUITION

All tuition may be paid in one of three ways for the 2025-2026 school year:

1. Payment in full - Discount of $100* will be applied at the time of payment. Payment must be completed at the time of registration to receive discount. *For Preschool, discount of $50 will be applied at the time of payment.
2. Payment in four installments.
3. Payment in seven installments - Fee of $20 will be applied to each installment due September through February.

2025-2026 TUITION INSTALLMENT DATES

A late fee of $25 will be applied to your account if payment is not received by the posted due dates. Please note that students with delinquent accounts will not be admitted to class or be eligible to register for the next program until their account is current.

Refund Policy:
Tuition and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should a student withdraw who has paid, the remaining tuition and all fees will be forfeited to Houston Ballet Academy. Forfeited tuition may not be considered a tax-deductible donation.

Withdrawal Policy:

Should a parent/guardian desire to withdraw a student prior to end of the Academy year, the Registrar's Office must receive a completed Withdrawal Form, available in the PowerSchool portal. The parent/guardian will be responsible for all tuition payments due until the date the Academy office receives the complete Withdrawal Form. Verbal notification of withdrawal will not be accepted. Should a student withdraw in the beginning, middle, or a quarter which has been paid, the remaining tuition will be forfeited to HBA. HBA is not liable or obligated in any way to process any refunds or issue any credits.

Registration Fees:

Preschool Program: $100

Pre-Professional and Professional Programs: $200

Additional Professional Program Fees:

• EAL - $275 per semester
• Study Hall - $275 per semester
• Scholarship Fee - $200
• International Student Document Processing Fee - $200
• Student Life Fee - $275
• Off Campus PE Application Completion - $50
• Housing Fees
  • Center for Dance - $925 per month (+$200 cleaning fee per program session)
  • Market Square Tower - $925 per month (+ $200 cleaning fee per program session)
